Why this single door commercial upright freezer earns its place
The UF400 is a single-door upright freezer built for back-of-house frozen storage in a working kitchen. With 400 litres gross and 340 litres net across six fixed freezing shelves behind one solid hinged door, it holds a week's frozen stock in a footprint not much wider than the door itself. The white finish and white ABS interior suit a commercial storeroom or kitchen line.
It holds a -24 to -10 °C band under electronic control, using a static cooling system with manual defrost — build a defrost into your cleaning routine to keep the freezer working efficiently. Rated climate class 4, it holds temperature in a warm kitchen and runs quietly at 40 dB. At 839.5 kWh a year, it costs about £210 a year in energy at 25p/kWh.
It stands 600 × 585 × 1855 mm (W×D×H), with 484 × 470 × 1620 mm of internal space, and ships packed at 690 × 650 × 2050 mm — over two metres tall boxed, so check that height and your doorways before delivery. It runs on a 13 A supply at 220–240 V/50 Hz, drawing 150 W, and uses R600a refrigerant with a 90 g charge. Net weight is 80 kg, 85 kg packed.
