Why this single door commercial upright freezer earns its place
The CAF410 is a single-door upright storage freezer built for back-of-house frozen stock in a narrow footprint. At 600 mm wide it slots into a tight run while still offering 410 litres gross and 300 litres net across three shelves, giving organised frozen storage without taking a large floor area. The solid door and stainless steel cabinet make it a straightforward workhorse for kitchens that need reliable freezing rather than display.
It holds -22 to -17 °C, a proper frozen band for long-term stock and bulk frozen ingredients. Defrost is automatic and electric, so there is no manual defrost to schedule, and three shelves let you organise stock by type or date. The cabinet draws 450 W and, on its verified 2639.0 kWh a year, costs about £660 a year at 25p/kWh, carrying energy class D.
External dimensions are 600 × 745 × 1950 mm (W×D×H), and packed it ships at 640 × 774 × 2050 mm — check doorway width and ceiling height before delivery. It runs from a standard 13-amp supply at 220-240 V and uses R290 refrigerant with a 90 g charge. Net weight is 90 kg, lighter than a full-width cabinet, though positioning still needs planning, and the stainless steel exterior and interior wipe down for hygiene.
