Why this upright freezer earns its place
The T865 is Williams' Jade LJ2-SA, a double-door upright freezer built with a stainless steel exterior and injected foam insulation for excellent thermal efficiency. It's the freezer counterpart to the HJ2-SA fridge in the Jade double-door range, giving high-capacity frozen storage across two doors rather than one.
It holds -22 to -18°C and is rated Energy Class D at 3343.4 kWh/year, with an EEI of 51.4% and a climate class 5 rating that keeps it operating efficiently in ambients up to 43°C. Cooling is via an air-cooled condensing unit, and Williams' CoolSmart controller is rated to offer up to 15% energy saving over a standard controller. The cabinet is fitted with 6 shelves suited to 2/1 GN pans — 3 per door — across its 1021 litres net capacity.
Build is foodsafe, easy-clean stainless steel exterior with an aluminium interior, radiused interior corners, and a full-length integral 'easy grab' door handle. Both doors are self-closing and barrel-locked with magnetic balloon gaskets giving a 100% tight seal, backed by 80mm precision-injected high-density polyurethane insulation with low GWP and zero ODP. R290 refrigerant runs the system, controlled through the capacitive touch CoolSmart controller with its easy-wipe, IP55-rated display. It carries a 2-year parts and labour warranty and weighs 169kg gross.
