Why this double door commercial upright freezer earns its place
A double-door upright freezer is the main frozen store for a working kitchen: 1400 mm wide, 2050 mm tall, holding 1200 litres of frozen capacity behind two full-height stainless steel doors. Built in stainless steel 430 with 60 mm insulation, it keeps bulk frozen product ready for the week's service at -10 to -22 °C with digital control and automatic defrost.
In daily use, two doors mean you open only the half you need, so less cold is lost each time someone grabs stock. LED interior lighting helps staff find what they need quickly without opening both sides. Stainless construction stands up to a busy back-of-house and wipes down as part of your cleaning routine. The freezer runs on just 5 kW power, making it efficient even under heavy use through a shift.
At 210 kg and 710 mm deep, plan the doorway and the route in, and a level spot with clearance above and behind for airflow. Allow space for the doors to open fully and air to circulate freely so the cooling system can breathe. Check the rating plate against your electrical supply before install: 230 V, 50 Hz mains required.
