Why this double door commercial upright freezer earns its place
This is a 1400-litre stainless-steel, glass-door upright freezer built to hold the frozen reserve behind a busy kitchen, bar or servery. It stores bulk frozen stock upright at -10 to -22 °C so staff can see, reach and rotate product rather than digging through a chest, and the glass doors make stock levels readable without opening up. It is the standing frozen store for a site that turns frozen product over regularly. The cabinet sits on a 1.4 metre wide footprint with a standing height of just over 2 metres, making it a tall vertical stack rather than a floor hog.
Refrigeration is monoblock — the cooling pack is a single self-contained unit built into the cabinet, which keeps the working parts together and makes service access straightforward. The glass doors let staff check levels without opening the doors during service, and interior LED lighting makes reading stock fast even in a dim back-of-house. Stainless steel 430 throughout wipes down as part of the daily clean, and 60 mm of insulation keeps the cold in. The unit runs on standard 230 V single-phase power and operates at a quiet 45 dB(A).
As a tall double-door upright weighing 260 kg it needs a delivery route and a final position that clear its height and door swing, so measure doorways and ceiling runs before it arrives. Confirm the electrical supply with your fitter — the monoblock is self-contained, so no remote condenser to wire in, but you do need a suitable wall space and clearance around the back for air circulation.
