Why this upright freezer earns its place
The Polar G-Series PG595 is a double-door upright freezer for high-output kitchens that need to store large quantities of frozen ingredients on-site. It's the direct successor to the popular G595, holding the same footprint while stepping up frozen storage capacity.
Inside there's 887 litres of net usable capacity, configured to take up to 20 double-size (2/1) 100mm deep gastronorm pans (shelves, GN supports and pans sold separately), held at the standard commercial deep-freeze band of -22 to -18°C by fan-assisted cooling. Energy Class D at 3409.1 kWh a year (EEI 58.3%) reflects the real cost of running a large double freezer at sub-zero temperatures.
Construction is durable stainless steel, with lockable doors, removable door seals, a digital thermostat and display, and automatic defrost. R290 refrigerant runs at Climate Class 5, heavy-duty castors make repositioning and cleaning straightforward, and the unit is backed by two years' parts and labour warranty. Gross weight is 169kg, drawing 680W on a 220-240V supply.
