Why this upright freezer earns its place
The Hoshizaki Advance CU269 is a double-door upright freezer built for high-volume commercial back-of-house use. It gives a kitchen 797 litres net volume behind two full-height doors, with eight shelves and 2/1 GN compatibility for frozen stock, batch-prepped product and deliveries that need to stay organised rather than stacked loose.
In daily service the two-door layout lets you split stock by section and reach one side without opening the whole cabinet. Hoshizaki's manufacturer text highlights intelligent air distribution, effective insulation and reliable holding in ambient temperatures up to 40 °C, while the rounded anti-corrosion stainless steel interior is designed to be durable and easier to clean.
The specification is set up for modern commercial refrigeration: stainless steel construction, R290 refrigerant with GWP 3, climate class 5, 230V connection and 700 W rated input. Energy use is listed at 10.6 kWh/24h, with energy class D, so it is worth running the figures through the energy label decoder on your own tariff.
