Why this stainless lid chest freezer earns its place
The LHF620SS is a solid-lid chest freezer built for bulk frozen storage. Chest format suits back-of-house sites that buy frozen stock in volume — the top-opening layout holds a deep, cold load with 556 litres gross and 426 litres net usable inside a white cabinet with a stainless lid.
It runs from -23 to -16 °C on a mechanical thermostat, with a solid hinged lid and R600a refrigerant. Defrost is manual, so the freezer is cleared and drained periodically rather than on an automatic cycle. It carries a C energy rating at 737.3 kWh a year — about £184 a year at 25p/kWh — drawing 163 W in use.
Internally the storage space measures 1586 × 536 × 696 mm, and the freezer ships packed at 1760 × 760 × 940 mm, so check delivery access and the intended floor space against the packed size. It runs from a standard 13 A supply at 220-240 V, holds 110 g of R600a, and weighs 77 kg net.
