Why this stainless lid chest freezer earns its place
The 7151.1120 is a top-opening commercial chest freezer holding 572 litres of frozen stock in volume. It is the format that pays off when you buy big and portion later — a single hold you load from the top and work through as demand dictates. The stainless steel lid takes the knocks of a working environment and wipes down as part of a normal cleaning routine. The temperature is held at −18 to −24 °C with an LED light inside for visibility, and the lid locks for security.
The chest format holds its cold well: because cold air sinks, less of it escapes each time the lid is lifted than with an upright door, which suits stock accessed in batches rather than constantly. Keep lines separated and rotated with baskets or dividers so the oldest stock comes out first, and a large freezer stays a system rather than a heap you dig through. The unit runs quietly at 41 dB(A), so it won't dominate a busy back room.
Site it on firm, level flooring (1,775 mm wide, 743 mm deep, 840 mm high; 69 kg) with clearance around the body for ventilation and room above for the lid to open fully. Keep it clear of direct heat and sunlight so the unit is not working against its surroundings, and build a periodic defrost into your cleaning schedule for when stock is low. Craven Cooling can advise on siting and arrange servicing and support.
