A chest layout keeps cold air in the well when the lid is lifted, so it holds temperature steadily through a busy day at a whisper-quiet 52 dB(A). The trade-off is that you organise from the top down, so keeping the well sorted by product means less digging and shorter lid-open times. Holding below –18 °C with R 290 refrigerant, it's built to lock and hold bulk frozen stock reliably.
For siting, stand it on a firm, level floor with clearance around it for the refrigeration to breathe, and keep it away from direct heat sources.
