Why this stainless lid chest freezer earns its place
The Chest Freezer SS Cover holds 650 litres of bulk frozen stock in a top-opening format. A chest shape holds more per square metre of floor than an upright and loses less cold air each time it is opened — the cold settles down into the cabinet rather than spilling out through a door. That makes it a practical way to hold boxed and bagged frozen product without surrendering much floor space to a tall cabinet.
The stainless steel lid stands up to a working environment and wipes down between deliveries. It holds stock below -18 °C with static cooling and manual defrost — straightforward operation without complex controllers. The cabinet spans 1.93 m wide and 0.71 m deep at 0.825 m tall, so it tucks under many counters or into a corner, staying accessible and easy to load and rotate. Keep the lid clear so it opens fully and product stays visible for stock rotation.
It weighs 95 kg and runs from a standard 230 V mains supply. Site it with room to work — it needs floor space, clearance above for the lid to lift fully, and enough air around the sides to shed heat. Measure your doorway and the final position before delivery, checking the external dimensions, weight and electrical rating in the specification table against your route in and your electrical supply.
