Why this fresh meat display fridge earns its place
This TEFCOLD unit is a serve-over display counter built for high-volume deli, butchery and fresh-food service. It presents 3.31 m² of refrigerated display along a 3750 mm run, finished in grey RAL7015 with a stainless steel interior. The length gives staff a long, continuous counter to lay out portioned and packaged chilled produce for customers to choose from at the point of service.
The counter holds 0 to +4 °C using ventilated cooling with automatic electric defrost and an electronic controller. It is rated climate class 3 for temperate ambient conditions and carries energy class F with an energy efficiency index of 79.3%. On verified consumption of 5256 kWh a year it works out at about £1314 a year at 25p/kWh. Measured noise is 59 dB.
Internally the counter measures 3750 × 900 × 545 mm (W×D×H) and ships packed at 4000 × 1250 × 1400 mm, so this is a large delivery that needs planned access and handling; it weighs 470 kg net and 565 kg gross. It draws 1000 W from a 13 A, 220-240 V/50 Hz single-phase supply and uses R290 refrigerant with a 150 g charge.
