Why this flat glass serve over fridge earns its place
The Brabant 200 is a full-length serve-over counter built for assisted service across a wide display face. It presents 1.69 m² of chilled display behind glass, with staff serving from the rear, which suits butchers, delis, fishmongers and patisserie counters selling prepared and fresh goods face-to-face. The white exterior and stainless-steel interior give a clean, hard-wearing finish for a working counter.
It holds a chilled band of +2 to +8 °C using static cooling and automatic off-cycle defrost, managed by an electronic controller for consistent setpoint holding. It carries climate class 3, rated for typical indoor retail conditions. Rated at 69 dB it is audible in a quiet room, so factor that into a small, front-of-house space. Energy class E at 2106 kWh a year is about £527 a year at 25p/kWh.
At 1953 mm wide, 973 mm deep and 1195 mm high, this is a large counter — packed it ships at 2100 × 1100 × 1380 mm, so measure doorways, corridors and the final position before delivery. It is heavy at 324 kg net (390 kg gross), needing a proper lifting team and a firm, level floor. It runs from a 13-amp supply and uses R290 refrigerant with a 150 g charge, a low-GWP hydrocarbon.
