Why this flat glass serve over fridge earns its place
The Cold Display Morris 2.0 is a flat-glass serve-over counter built for staffed food service. Product sits chilled behind glass facing the customer while staff pick and serve from the rear, which suits delis, farm shops and counters selling meat, cheese, pies and prepared foods by weight or by piece. It is a display and a service point in one, so the customer sees the full range and the counter frames the offer as a proper food counter rather than a shelf.
It runs as a chilled cabinet, holding served product at +2 to +10°C — the standard serving temperature band across the display deck. The flat glass front gives customers a clear, close view of the range while the cabinet holds it cold, and staff work the open serving side to pick, weigh and hand over. Load and face it up at the start of trade and it holds the counter presentable through the day. LED interior lighting shows the product clearly to customers. The automatic defrost keeps the display frost-free without daily maintenance.
This cabinet stands 1,959 mm wide, 1,095 mm deep and 1,280 mm high, and weighs 192 kg when delivered. It is a substantial floor-standing counter, so plan it into the counter line with the serving side clear for staff and clearance behind for the compressor to vent. Measure your access route so it turns through your doorways and sits in your counter line. Confirm the electrical supply — it runs from a standard 230V single-phase mains connection — before you order. Craven Cooling can help plan the siting and check the electrics before delivery.
