Why this multideck earns its place
The CW656 is the rear-door version of CED's Designline drop-in multideck: a self-help chilled display built to recess into a freestanding countertop or gondola run. At 1175 mm wide, 660 mm deep and 750 mm high, it gives a 3 x 1/1 GN cold well below three chilled toughened-glass shelves, so chilled drinks, sandwiches, desserts and packaged food-to-go can be presented in an open, browseable format without a full-height cabinet on the floor.
The cabinet is fan-assisted and runs on R290 hydrocarbon refrigerant, with a stated -1 to +5 °C temperature range and manufacturer text describing 24-hour operation holding food core between 2 and 5 °C. Each shelf is adjustable for height and angle, with a product stop and 40 mm point-of-sale ticket strip at the front edge, while diffused gantry lighting and an eye-level digital temperature display help the run look sharp as well as stay controllable.
Rear loading is the reason to choose this model over the fixed-back version. Staff can replenish from the operator side through the rear doors, keeping the customer face full without reaching across the open front. Toughened side glass protects the customer side, the bright polished steel and aluminium superstructure gives the Designline its elliptical look, and removable deck plates make deeper cleaning more practical.
