Why this flat glass cake display fridge earns its place
The Chopin 1250 FV-VP is a refrigerated display cabinet built for cakes, gateaux and patisserie. A white body with a stainless steel and glass interior frames 2.79 m² of display area, giving cafés, bakeries and delis a full serve-side counter to show off finished product rather than storing it out of view.
It runs at +2 to +6 °C, the band you want for cream cakes and chilled desserts, and uses automatic defrost so there is no manual routine to manage. It sits at climate class 3 and uses R290, a natural hydrocarbon refrigerant. At energy class B it is rated at 1963.7 kWh a year, which is about £491 a year at 25p/kWh.
This is a substantial floor-standing counter: it measures 1300 × 800 × 1300 mm (W×D×H) and has a gross weight of 270 kg, so plan the delivery route and final position before it arrives. It runs on 220–240 V through a standard 13 A supply, so no special electrics are needed.
