Why this flat glass cake display fridge earns its place
The Framec VENERE NV is a dual-function upright glass display cabinet that works as a freezer or a chiller, so one unit covers frozen desserts one season and chilled patisserie the next. Five shelves give 1.7 m² of display area in a black cabinet with a grey interior, keeping product visible behind glass at the counter or back wall.
The cabinet spans -22 to +5 °C, from frozen through to chilled, and uses automatic defrost so frost is cleared without manual intervention. It is rated to climate class 4 and draws 640 W. At energy class C and 3091.6 kWh a year, running cost works out at about £773 a year at 25p/kWh, though the figure moves with how you set it.
The external footprint is 668 × 773 × 2000 mm (W×D×H), so the 668 mm width clears a standard doorway; check the 2000 mm height and 773 mm depth against your route. Packed for delivery it measures 745 × 775 × 2100 mm and weighs 181 kg, or 156 kg net once unpacked. Power is a single 13 amp, 220-240 V/50 Hz supply, and cooling uses natural R290 refrigerant.
