Why this curved glass cake display fridge earns its place
The Tefcold EVO1802 SS is a stainless steel patisserie display cabinet built for high-volume cake, dessert and deli merchandising. It presents 2.3 m² of chilled display across three glass shelves plus the base deck, with a stainless steel interior and exterior, and it is served from the back through two sliding glass doors so staff can restock without breaking the customer view.
Day to day it holds a +1 to +10 °C band suited to patisserie and prepared chilled foods. Automatic defrost and an electronic controller manage the cycle, and it is rated climate class 3. It uses R290 refrigerant and carries energy class E at 4679.3 kWh a year — about £1170 a year at 25p/kWh, which reflects the size of the glazed display.
The display bay is 1755 mm wide internally (1755 × 502 × 790 mm), and the cabinet weighs 255 kg, so plan a two-person-plus delivery and a solid final position. It runs from a standard 13 A supply drawing 780 W, and holds a 155 g charge of R290. It operates at 46 dB.
