Why this curved glass cake display fridge earns its place
The LPD900C is a curved-glass chilled display cabinet for staging cakes, desserts and chilled patisserie at the counter. It carries 1.54 m² of display over three glass shelves plus the base deck, so a range can be merchandised across several tiers in a compact 905 mm-wide footprint. The stainless steel and glass build looks clean front-of-house, and two sliding glass doors let staff serve from behind without breaking the display line.
It holds a +2 to +8 °C chilled band controlled electronically, with automatic off-cycle defrost so there is no manual routine to manage. The cabinet is energy class D at 4004.1 kWh a year, which is about £1001 a year in electricity at 25p/kWh. It uses R290 refrigerant with a 110 g charge and is built to climate class 3.
The cabinet measures 905 × 745 × 1360 mm (W×D×H) and ships packed at 960 × 800 × 1480 mm, so measure access routes before delivery — the 800 mm packed depth is the number that catches standard single doorways. It runs from a standard 13 A supply at 220–240 V / 50 Hz, rated 598 W. Net weight is 204 kg (235 kg gross), so plan for two or more people and a clear, level siting position.
