Why this drop-in display fridge earns its place
The Tefcold CW3 is a drop-in buffet display designed to be recessed into a counter or servery, presenting chilled food from above at the point of service. The stainless steel well spans 1102 mm across the front and holds 104 litres gross, 102 litres net, keeping cold food on show through service without a separate cabinet taking floor space.
It runs static cooling across a +2 to +8 °C band with automatic defrost, managed by an electronic controller. Rated noise is 42 dB, quiet enough for a front-of-house servery. It uses 1051.2 kWh a year — about £263 a year at 25p/kWh.
External dimensions are 1102 mm wide, 678 mm deep and 536 mm tall, with the internal well measuring 994 × 570 × 175 mm — plan the counter cut-out and the depth needed below. Packed it ships at 1150 × 730 × 680 mm and 55 kg gross. It plugs into a standard 13 A socket, drawing 122 W at 220-240 V, and uses R600a refrigerant with a 70 g charge.
