Why this serve over counter earns its place
The Moffat Versicarte Pro VC4RW is a cold food service counter with four 1/1 GN refrigerated wells, designed to hold and present chilled food front-of-house at the buffet or self-service line. It keeps cold dishes on show where staff or customers can see and reach them, portioning from the operator's side or the customer face depending on how you run the service. Fan-assisted cooling maintains 2°C to 5°C throughout the wells, with an illuminated gantry to light the display and an adjustable two-position glass sneeze screen that repositions for either assisted or self-service applications.
Behind the glass wells sits an open ambient storage cupboard accessible from the operator's side, so you can keep backup stock, trays or prep items within arm's reach while service is running. A drop-down triple-tube tray slide provides a work surface to rest trays or plates while portioning, and folds away neatly when not in use. At 1490mm wide and 680mm deep with a standard 900mm height, it slots into most service runs, weighing 212kg and running on a standard 1500W 230V supply.
Where you place it matters. A service counter works best sited into a defined service run with clear customer flow past the front, so plan the layout and access around it. For confirmed dimensions, capacity, electrical draw and running cost, check the specification panel on this page before you commit to a slot in your servery.
