Why this double door upright glass door freezer earns its place
The Blizzard BMF2 is a double-door upright glass display freezer — a two-door cabinet that puts a wide face of frozen stock on show behind glass. The twin-door layout gives a broad merchandising front for busy self-service frozen fixtures in convenience retail, takeaways and front-of-house hospitality, where customers choose from what they can see.
It runs on R290a, a natural hydrocarbon refrigerant with a very low global warming potential that is standard on modern display freezers. As with any glass-door freezer, keep it out of direct sun and away from ovens and radiators so the glass stays clear and the compressor is not fighting a warm ambient.
At 1250 mm wide, 760 mm deep and 2003 mm tall, the cabinet needs a run of wall around 1.25 m and a little over two metres of height clearance. The 760 mm depth clears most standard doorways, but measure your delivery route and allow room in front for both doors to open fully before ordering. Confirm the electrical supply and remaining specification against the current data sheet.
