The BLIZZARD GDF1200 is an upright double-door freezer display merchandiser that keeps frozen stock behind clear glass, so customers can browse and self-select without a member of staff opening a door. At over 1,100 litres of gross capacity across eight adjustable shelves, it is built for serious frozen range on display — well suited to frozen ready meals, ice cream and grab-and-go frozen lines that sell better when they are seen. Day to day it runs on R290, a natural hydrocarbon refrigerant with low environmental impact, and uses automatic defrost so frost is managed without a manual routine. The cabinet carries a climate class 3 rating for stable indoor ambient conditions—so place it clear of direct heat sources like shop windows or kitchen vents—and it will hold its -21 to -12 °C operating range reliably. The Carel digital controller lets you set and monitor temperature precisely. Lock the cabinet as standard; it comes fitted.
The two doors are hinged, so allow swing clearance in front of the cabinet when you plan the layout. It measures 1370 × 740 × 2050 mm (W×D×H) — over 1.3 m wide and more than two metres tall — so check doorways, corridors and the final position before delivery, and plan for more than one person to handle its 170 kg. It requires a 13 amp supply. Leave room at the rear for ventilation (at least 100 mm clearance) so air circulates freely and the unit cools efficiently.
