Why this countertop freezer earns its place
The Tefcold UF100GCP is a countertop glass-door display freezer for merchandising frozen lines at the point of sale. Behind a single heated hinged glass door sit three white wire shelves and 116 litres gross / 113 litres net of display, across a 0.29 m² display area. The heated door keeps the glass clear of condensation so the product stays visible, and the white cabinet keeps the focus on the frozen stock.
It uses static cooling with a mechanical controller and manual defrost, a straightforward setup for a countertop freezer. Running noise is 45 dB, and it is rated to climate class 4 for warm rooms. At energy class C and 1244.7 kWh a year it costs about £311 a year at 25p/kWh.
The cabinet measures 610 × 555 × 890 mm (W×D×H) with 500 × 430 × 540 mm of internal space, and it ships packed at 655 × 595 × 965 mm. It runs from a standard 13 amp supply on 220-240 V and uses natural R290 refrigerant with a 60 g charge. Its compact footprint sits on a counter or back-bar without a dedicated circuit.
