Why this countertop freezer earns its place
The UF50G is the lowest-profile route to frozen impulse sales: 48 litres net — 50 litres gross — behind a heated hinged glass door, in a cabinet that stands just 520 mm tall. That height matters on a counter, because staff and customers still see each other over the top of it. The 0.23 m² display area keeps frozen lines visible at the point of payment, and the white finish inside and out leaves the product to do the talking.
Operation is deliberately simple. It holds -24 to -12 °C on a mechanical controller, cooling is static and defrost is manual, so there is very little to go wrong and nothing electronic to fault. It runs at 45 dB and carries a climate class 4 ambient rating for warm salesrooms. Energy class is C at 923.4 kWh a year, which comes to about £231 a year at 25p/kWh.
Siting it takes minutes. The cabinet measures 570 × 530 × 520 mm and weighs 34 kg net, light enough for one strong pair of hands or an easy two-person lift, and it packs to 610 × 560 × 580 mm for transit. It draws 154 W on a 220-240 V/50 Hz supply through a standard 13 A plug and runs on R290 refrigerant with a 45 g charge.
