Why this countertop freezer earns its place
The UF100G puts frozen stock where customers actually decide: on the counter. Behind its heated hinged glass door sits 88 litres of net capacity — 90 litres gross — with 0.27 m² of display area to keep frozen impulse lines visible at the point of sale. The cabinet is white inside and out, so the product does the selling, and at 610 mm wide by 540 mm deep it takes no floor space at all.
In service it holds -24 to -12 °C, set on a mechanical controller, with static cooling and manual defrost — a deliberately simple arrangement with little to go wrong. The heated glass door is there to keep the viewing glass clear. It runs at 45 dB, carries a climate class 4 ambient rating, and its C energy class translates to 1,160.7 kWh a year — about £290 a year at 25p/kWh.
Installation is as straightforward as commercial freezing gets. The cabinet measures 610 × 540 × 670 mm, weighs 44 kg net, and plugs into a standard 13 A socket, drawing 230 W on a 220-240 V/50 Hz supply. It runs on R290 refrigerant with a 60 g charge. The only siting question is whether the counter can carry 44 kg — most service counters can.
