Why this impulse cooler/freezer earns its place
The CF78 is a compact impulse freezer built to put frozen stock in front of customers at the point of sale. It offers 80 litres gross and 72 litres net, a footprint sized for a counter end, aisle cap or checkout position where an extra frozen line drives a spur-of-the-moment buy. The white cabinet with black trim reads cleanly in a retail setting, and the top-opening format keeps stock reachable without a separate door.
It uses static cooling with manual defrost, so plan a periodic defrost into your routine to keep the interior clear of ice build-up. A mechanical controller sets the temperature with a simple dial. Sound output is 45 dB, low enough for a customer-facing position. At energy class D it is rated at 459.9 kWh a year, about £115 a year at 25p/kWh.
The freezer ships packed at 584 × 584 × 880 mm and weighs 33 kg gross, 29 kg net, so it is light enough to reposition as your layout changes. It runs from a standard 13 A supply at 220-240 V, 50 Hz, and uses R600a refrigerant with a 40 g charge. No special installation is needed beyond a nearby socket.
