Why this impulse cooler/freezer earns its place
This is a switchable cooling and freezing display island, 1.48 m wide and 1.04 m deep, built as an impulse cabinet that can run as either a chiller (0 to +6 °C) or a freezer. Because one unit covers both jobs, it lets a store merchandise chilled lines one week and frozen lines the next without a second cabinet. As an island it is meant to be approached from around its edges, which suits open-floor impulse retail where shoppers browse from any side. The 240-litre capacity holds a solid range for any impulse category.
In daily use the switchable design is the point: the same island can be set to hold chilled or frozen stock to suit the season or a change in range. When you switch modes, allow a few hours for the temperature to stabilize before restocking. The cabinet is ventilated with automatic defrost, so it will cycle actively through the change and then settle at the new temperature.
It is a floor-standing island that needs clear access around it rather than being pushed against a wall, with airflow space for the refrigeration system to shed heat. At 220 kg, plan handling and a level, stable position in advance. Check the dimensions against your floor plan and doorways on the delivery route. It runs on 230 V single-phase; confirm your socket and circuit are available before ordering.
