Why this impulse cooler/freezer earns its place
The Cooling Island 0.7 is a compact impulse cooling island from Craven Cooling's commercial display range. Measuring 772 mm wide, 833 mm deep and 930 mm tall, it is built to be sited out on the floor — aisle ends, queue lines and checkout runs — rather than against a wall. Its relatively modest footprint means it fits into high-traffic spots without consuming excessive floor space, so it puts stock where footfall is heaviest and turns passing traffic into unplanned purchases.
Island displays earn their place on merchandising, not storage: the aim is to keep a tight, fast-moving range in front of the customer at the moment of decision. Inside, the working space is 554 mm wide by 610 mm deep and 270 mm tall, holding a compact range of chilled impulse lines at +2 to +8 °C. The cabinet is fitted with LED interior lighting so stock shows well throughout the day. It runs with ventilated cooling and R 290 refrigerant, maintaining a steady temperature band that you can match to the stock you intend to run before you order.
At 115 kg, the island is manageable to move and site. Because it is positioned in open floor space and connects to a mains power point, it is worth measuring your access route and the spot it will stand in first; the Craven Cooling team can confirm clearances and siting with you ahead of delivery. The electrical requirement is 230 V single phase at 50 Hz.
