Why this ventilated cooled ice cream display freezer earns its place
The NIC202SC-SO is a scoop ice cream display freezer built to present flavours for over-the-counter scooping service. It is a merchandising cabinet as much as a freezer: the rounded top and curved corners give it the sort of presence ice cream vendors want, while the interior LED lighting from above shows off the colours and textures. The job is to let staff scoop cones and tubs to order at the point of sale while the customer watches.
The cabinet holds 186 litres of ice cream and runs at -24 to -14 °C. On energy, it is rated class D and uses 440.2 kWh a year, which works out at roughly £110 a year at 25p/kWh — though your actual cost depends on your tariff, ambient temperature and how hard the cabinet is worked. It pulls 165 W when running and should not be sited where ambient temperature exceeds 40 °C.
For installation, the footprint is 740 mm wide, 650 mm deep and 885 mm high — a compact single-deck freezer that fits alongside a till point or as a standalone unit.
