Why this ventilated cooled ice cream display freezer earns its place
The ISA Millennium LX18 is a large ventilated scoop ice cream display freezer built to carry a wide flavour range on show. Its 1.07 m² display area and 970 litres gross capacity face a broad selection toward the customer, with a white exterior and a stainless steel interior behind the pans.
It holds a display temperature of -20 to -14 °C, cold enough to keep scooping ice cream firm through a busy service. Ventilated cooling moves air evenly over the pans for consistent temperature, and automatic hot gas defrost clears frost without manual intervention. The cabinet runs at 56 dB and carries a climate class of 7. At 10446.3 kWh a year it runs at energy class D, which works out to about £2612 a year at 25p/kWh.
The cabinet measures 1661 × 1080 × 1356 mm (W×D×H) and packs to 1800 × 1150 × 1620 mm for delivery, worth checking against doorways and access routes before it arrives. It weighs 313 kg gross and 270 kg net. Power is a 16 amp supply at 220-240 V rather than a standard 13 amp socket, drawing up to 2450 W, and it uses R290 refrigerant with a 148 g charge. Energy class D, EEI 49.7%.
