Why this ventilated cooled ice cream display freezer earns its place
The ISA FIJI 7 is a scoop ice cream display freezer built to present open tubs at the counter for serve-to-order scooping. It puts 0.42 m² of display in a white cabinet, with a white interior, so flavours read clearly to the customer while staff serve from the front.
Ventilated cooling holds the cabinet at -18 to -14 °C, the firm-but-scoopable band for served ice cream, and defrost runs automatically on hot gas so ice does not build up over a trading day. It is rated to climate class 5, so it copes with warmer, busier interiors, and draws 900 W. At energy class C and 3467.5 kWh a year, running cost works out at about £867 a year at 25p/kWh.
Power is a single 13 amp, 220-240 V/50 Hz supply, so the cabinet plugs into a standard socket rather than needing a dedicated circuit. It carries 110 kg net and 125 kg packed for delivery. Cooling uses natural R290 refrigerant with a 120 g charge.
