Why this ventilated cooled ice cream display freezer earns its place
The Ice Cream Display Komodo is a ventilated ice cream display freezer for presenting scooping tubs to customers at the counter. The white glass canopy with LED interior lighting keeps six flavours in view so people order by sight, while staff serve from the operator side. It holds 189 litres and is aimed at parlours, kiosks and cafés adding a loose ice cream line where the product itself does the selling.
Ventilated, fan-assisted cooling circulates cold air through the cabinet to keep the display evenly frozen at -16 to -18°C across the tubs during service. The automatic defrost cycle handles water management, but build a regular clean-down into the routine to keep the display bright and inviting. Keep the cabinet out of direct sunlight and clear of ovens, heaters and doorways so it holds temperature through a trading day. Avoid overloading so cold air can move freely around the product, and the unit's low 64 dB(A) noise level keeps the counter pleasant.
This is a standalone display cabinet measuring just 910 mm wide, 880 mm deep and 1300 mm tall, and weighing only 106 kg, so it is a practical fit for smaller counters and moves more easily than larger displays. It runs on a standard 230 V supply. Confirm the serving position, delivery access and doorway widths before it arrives, and leave clear space around the condenser for airflow. Run it from a dedicated socket at the serving counter rather than sharing a circuit with other equipment, so the refrigeration has a stable supply through service.
