Why this ventilated cooled ice cream display freezer earns its place
The ISA Bermuda RV10 is a ventilated scoop ice cream display freezer built to merchandise open tubs at the point of sale. It offers 300 litres gross and 255 litres net across a 0.59 m² display area, so a full range of flavours sits in front of the customer while the counter footprint stays contained. The grey exterior and white interior keep the focus on the product on show.
In use the cabinet holds -20 to -14 °C, the band scoop ice cream needs to stay firm without freezer burn, and ventilated cooling moves cold air evenly across the display so tubs at the front chill as hard as those at the back. Automatic hot-gas defrost clears frost without a manual routine, an electronic controller governs temperature, and it is rated to climate class 4 for warm rooms. Running noise is 54 dB, and at energy class E and 8103 kWh a year it costs about £2026 a year at 25p/kWh.
The cabinet measures 1340 × 800 × 1340 mm (W×D×H) and weighs 200 kg, so plan the delivery route and check the 800 mm depth clears your doorways before it arrives. It runs from a standard 13 amp supply on 220-240 V, draws 1500 W, and uses natural R290 refrigerant. Ventilated cooling means it needs clear air around the condenser, so leave the manufacturer's clearances when you site it.
