Why this static cooled ice cream display freezer earns its place
The IDA500-W1+ is a scoop ice cream display freezer built to serve and merchandise in one unit. It shows 1.53 m² of product in a clean white RAL9010 finish inside and out, with 503 litres gross and 408 litres net between the display and storage, giving plenty of tubs on show and in reserve.
It holds -23 to -16 °C on static cooling with a mechanical controller, and runs quietly at 49 dB. Defrost is manual, so build a regular defrost into the routine to keep the well clear. The freezer carries energy class D with an EEI of 39.3%, and at its rated 843.1 kWh a year works out at about £211 a year at 25p/kWh.
At 126 kg gross it is a manageable freestanding unit. It draws 215 W on a 220-240 V/50 Hz supply and uses 96 g of R290 natural hydrocarbon refrigerant. Confirm siting and a nearby power point before delivery.
