Why this static cooled ice cream display freezer earns its place
The IC401SCE is a wide scoop ice cream display freezer topped with a clear canopy, built to line up a full row of tubs behind curved glass at the serving point. The 1180 mm internal width gives room for a broad flavour range on show, and the white exterior with white painted steel interior keeps it a clean, wipe-down cabinet for a scooping counter.
In use it holds -24 to -14 °C, the band that keeps ice cream firm enough to scoop rather than setting solid. Defrost is manual, so the cabinet is cleared down on your schedule instead of pausing for an automatic cycle mid-service. Control is mechanical, noise is rated at 45 dB, and it carries climate class 5. On energy class D it uses 799.4 kWh a year, about £200 a year at 25p/kWh.
It draws 141 W and runs from a standard 13-amp supply. Internal dimensions are 1180 × 495 × 710 mm (W×D×H) and it weighs 106.2 kg, worth planning for on delivery and siting. Cooling uses R290 refrigerant with a 105 g charge.
