Why this static cooled ice cream display freezer earns its place
The ISETTA 7LX is a floor-standing scoop ice cream display freezer built to put a run of flavours in front of the customer and let the product do the selling. Its 0.42 m² display area gives room to lay out a wide pan spread, and the white exterior and interior keep the focus on the tubs rather than the cabinet. It suits a service point where people choose by sight and expect the ice cream to look freshly filled.
Day to day, the cabinet holds -16 to -14 °C, the working band that keeps scoop ice cream firm enough to portion cleanly without going glassy. Cooling is static and defrost is automatic and electric, so there is no manual defrost cycle to schedule around trading hours. It carries an energy class of B; at the rated 2664.5 kWh a year that works out at about £666 a year at 25p/kWh.
On the electrical side it runs from a standard 13 A supply at 220-240 V, 50 Hz, drawing 820 W, so it does not need a dedicated commercial circuit. Refrigerant is R290 with a 130 g charge, and it is rated to climate class 4. It is a substantial unit at 130 kg gross and 102 kg net, so plan the delivery route and final position before it arrives.
