Why this static cooled ice cream display freezer earns its place
The ISA ISETTA 4LX is a compact scoop ice cream display freezer built to present and serve loose ice cream from a front-of-house position. Its 0.24 m² display area suits smaller counters where you want the product visible and scooping to order, without committing floor space to a large cabinet. Finished in white inside and out, it reads clean against most counter setups.
Day to day, the cabinet holds -16 to -14 °C using static cooling, with automatic electric defrost handling frost build-up so staff do not have to. It is rated to climate class 4 and carries an energy class B label. At the verified figure of 2062.2 kWh a year, that works out at about £516 a year at 25p/kWh — worth factoring in before you decide how many hours a day it runs.
On the build side, the 4LX plugs into a standard 13 A socket and draws 810 W at 220-240 V/50 Hz, so no special electrical work is needed for most sites. It uses natural R290 refrigerant with a 90 g charge. Empty net weight is 69 kg (87 kg gross), which one or two people can position on delivery.
