Why this ice cream machine earns its place
The 161TGSP is a compact self-pasteurising soft serve machine. It sits 855 mm tall and 320 mm deep — shallow enough to work in a tight service area — and is built to dispense soft serve through the trading day, with the self-pasteurising design meaning the machine heat-treats the mix on board on a set cycle rather than relying on a daily strip-down. Fresh soft serve is a high-margin draw, and a compact machine lets a smaller site run it without a large production footprint.
Self-pasteurisation is the operational story here. Holding and heat-treating the mix on a cycle reduces how often the machine has to be stripped down and cleaned, which keeps it serving for more of the day and takes labour out of the daily routine. The trade-off is that it is a more involved piece of equipment, so it wants operating to its cycle and settings rather than treated as a simple churn. It runs on a standard 230V mains supply and weighs 95 kg, so siting matters — allow for a stable base and clearance around it for ventilation and service.
As commercial equipment it needs planning in. The stainless steel build is durable and food-safe, but confirm the electrical supply against the rating plate before installation, and our team can advise on siting, commissioning and the delivery route. A 1-year parts and labour warranty covers the machine from the point of installation.
