Why this plate earns its place
The wide rim is more than decoration — it's a boundary that keeps sauce off the tablecloth and gives a chef room to compose the plate without crowding the food toward the edge. At 310mm, you have a full main-course footprint: enough for a protein, two vegetables, and a sauce without the plate feeling sparse. The rim also protects against chips because the vulnerable edge is further from the food zone; a minor edge knock doesn't pull the plate from service.
Vitrified porcelain means the glaze won't absorb stain, flavour, or grease. Passthrough washers cycle these 100 times or more before visible wear. White reads neutral across any menu — it doesn't compete with plating choices. The round shape with a defined rim is the restaurant standard; diners expect this form.
A 12-pack is sized for steady-state service: enough margin that you're not running plates straight from the wash back to plating. Freezer-safe for advance prep or holding plated dishes during a rush. Round stacking is efficient for both shelf storage and transport bins on catering runs.
