Why this plate earns its place
Deep plates take the weight of stews, braises and sauced pasta without crowding the hob. At 270 mm diameter, they hold 430 ml comfortably — enough for a full portion of sauce-heavy dishes without slopping over. The rolled edges are strengthened against chipping; in a high-turnover kitchen, this matters more than finish or glaze.
Olympia Whiteware is pure white unglazed porcelain: it stacks tight, survives the dishwasher and holds heat steadily through a service. Stackability saves shelf space when storage is tight; the weight distribution (430 ml across 270 mm) means less rim fragility than shallow equivalents.
