Why this utensil washer earns its place
The Hobart FT116 is a commercial utensil washer for the awkward, heavy ware that drives a pot-wash section: pots and pans, cast iron cookware, baking tins, trays and racks. Its manufacturer description states that it includes an integrated softener.
That built-in softener is the distinction against the plain FT117, and it matters on sites where water hardness is part of the warewashing decision. The softener is specified without changing the main footprint: FT116 is listed at 1984mm x 780mm x 945mm with a 205kg gross weight.
The body is stainless steel with a silver finish, built for a wet commercial back-of-house environment. Services still need checking before order: the catalogue states 400V, three-phase power and drainage by drain pump.
