THE WORKING VIEW

Why this pot washer earns its place

The DC67A RDP is the DC67A engineered for kitchens that want consistency without thought: automatic detergent pumps dose exactly what you need, every load. No more guessing if you've added enough, no more waste from over-dosing, no more risk of underdose leading to streaky pans.

It's the same robust 670×670 break-tank design—built for pots, pans, hotel pans, baking trays, gastronorm containers, colanders. Double-skinned construction keeps it quiet and thermally efficient. The chamber is spacious enough for a 20-litre stock pot standing upright, or two hotel pans side by side.

What changes with the RDP is the pump system. You fill the detergent tank once (weekly or monthly depending on volume), dial your cycle time, and the machine proportions the detergent automatically. Rinse aid is also dosed—so even in hard-water areas, you're getting crystal-clean equipment without streaking. This is particularly valuable if your kitchen runs high volume: consistent chemistry keeps your wash results consistent, even across shifts.

BEFORE YOU BUY

Questions, answered straight

The RDP adds automatic detergent and rinse-aid pumps. Instead of pouring detergent into the chamber before each cycle, you fill the chemical tank once weekly, and the machine doses automatically. It eliminates human error, saves chemical cost through accurate proportioning, and guarantees consistent wash results across all shifts.

Depends on your cycle volume. A kitchen running 20 cycles per day (light) might refill weekly; a kitchen running 40+ cycles might refill twice weekly. The tank volume is sized so you're refilling during normal kitchen stock rotation, not constantly. Craven can help you size the tank based on your typical load.

Yes. The rinse-aid pump adjusts for water hardness—rinse aid is dosed proportionally to water hardness by the machine's sensors. So whether your water is soft or very hard, the rinse cycle delivers spotless, streak-free results. No manual adjustment needed.

Absolutely. The cycle timer is manual—you can run a 3-minute light cycle or a 6-minute heavy cycle depending on the load. The pump system scales with the cycle: shorter cycle, less detergent pumped; longer cycle, appropriate detergent dose. It's intelligent about dose, not a fixed amount.

The pumps are stainless steel and designed for commercial detergent. Monthly check (visual): ensure no blocked nozzles or leaks around the pump heads. Annual professional service includes pump inspection and calibration. Ring 01792 732702 if you notice uneven dosing or suspect blockage.

You'll spend slightly less on detergent overall (no waste from over-dosing) and the rinse-aid cost is minimal. Use the true-cost calculator to compare your current pot-washing cost with the RDP model—most kitchens save £2–4 per week in chemical cost while improving wash results. The payback is usually in labour efficiency and consistency, not just chemical savings.
