Why this rinse aid earns its place
Suma LA6 does the job of two chemicals in one dose – detergent and rinse aid combined – so front-loading and single tank warewashers get a proper wash and a streak-free, rapid dry without a separate rinse product to store and dose. It's built to cut through grease and dried-on food in the wash, then finish the job by leaving glassware and crockery spot-free rather than clouded or streaked.
Hard water is where a lot of rinse aids fall over, so LA6 is formulated to prevent scaling even in demanding conditions – up to 12°dH, 21°fH or 215ppm – keeping the inside of the machine free of limescale build-up that shortens the life of heating elements and jets. Running two-in-one also means less to store behind the pass and less packaging going through the bins.
It contains no NTA, and the concentrate format means you're diluting from a 20-litre drum rather than working through smaller bottles more often, which keeps handling to a minimum. As a hazardous, corrosive concentrate it's restricted to professional trade use, with age verification required at point of order and delivery, and it isn't covered by return or money-back guarantees once dispatched.
COSHH: six habits of safe chemical use
Control of Substances Hazardous to Health — the routine every commercial kitchen and cleaning cupboard is expected to run.

SDS
Read the label and the manufacturer’s safety data sheet — the pictograms tell you what you are holding.

Who could be harmed, and how badly? Judge likelihood against severity before anyone opens the cap.

Eliminate or substitute first, engineer and organise next — PPE is the last line, never the first.

Keep the controls working: check ventilation, dosing equipment and storage stay as they should be.

Everyone who uses it knows the hazards, the correct dilution and the PPE — before the first shift, not after.

Products and processes change. Reassess when they do, and keep the record that proves it.
