Why this one earns its place
SURE Cleaner and Disinfectant is formulated entirely from plant-based materials, giving you a disinfectant that’s fully biodegradable and free of the hazardous ingredients – artificial dyes, perfumes, chlorine, quats, phosphates and oxide compounds – that usually come with strong disinfecting power. It’s built to clean and disinfect kitchen surfaces, utensils, chopping boards and equipment in one application.
Contact time is 30 seconds for everyday clean surfaces and 5 minutes where the job is dirtier, and it’s been tested to comply with the BS EN 1276 and EN 13697 standards for antibacterial performance, plus BS EN 14476 for effectiveness against enveloped viruses – a solid basis for food hygiene records.
The concentrated formula works with a chemical dosing system for consistent, cost-effective dilution, and the bottle is colour-coded for quick identification against the rest of the SURE range. It refills from the matching FA402 refill bottle rather than being thrown away once empty.
For kitchens that want disinfecting power without the ingredient list of a traditional chemical disinfectant, this gives you a documented hygiene standard and a lower environmental footprint in the same bottle.

Read the label and the manufacturer’s safety data sheet — the pictograms tell you what you are holding.

Who could be harmed, and how badly? Judge likelihood against severity before anyone opens the cap.

Eliminate or substitute first, engineer and organise next — PPE is the last line, never the first.

Keep the controls working: check ventilation, dosing equipment and storage stay as they should be.

Everyone who uses it knows the hazards, the correct dilution and the PPE — before the first shift, not after.

Products and processes change. Reassess when they do, and keep the record that proves it.
Guidance summary only — the product label, the current safety data sheet and your own COSHH assessment remain the authority.
