Why this hot cupboard earns its place
This is a servery unit built for places where hot food needs to stay visible and ready to serve. Two independent glass hot tops maintain food at the correct serving temperature, each sized to hold a full 1/1 gastronorm pan — so plated dishes or trays of prepared items transfer directly from the pass without the need to decan or repackage. The arrangement is straightforward and saves time during service.
The gantry above features a half-height glass sneeze guard and overhead lamps. The lamps do double duty: they keep food at ideal serving temperature while making the display visually appealing and easy to see into. Behind the scenes, an independent hotcupboard underneath uses fan-assisted heating to maintain even temperature across its full depth and width. That cupboard holds four more 1/1 gastronorm containers — a substantial backup store if you're serving or holding prepared plates for a banquet or large event.
Everything is independently controlled. The gantry, hot tops and hotcupboard can each be switched on or off as needed, so you're not heating the entire unit if you only need the display active. This granular control cuts energy use during quieter periods and gives you real flexibility. The unit rolls on four castors, two of them braked, making it easy to position for service or reposition when the room layout changes. It arrives with a 13A plug and 2.5 m coiled cable — no permanent installation required.
