Why this hot cupboard earns its place

This is a straightforward heated cupboard: a stand-alone piece that keeps plated dishes at service temperature. At 1200 mm wide, 700 mm deep, and 850 mm tall, it fits into kitchens where a full-width pass cupboard is overkill but warm-plate holding is essential.

The cupboard works best as a secondary holding point — during a big lunch service, you load plates here while the main pass cupboard feeds the dining room. In smaller hotels, carveries, or catering kitchens, it's the primary plate-warming station. The compact size means it sits naturally on the pass line without crowding neighbouring equipment.

Stainless steel throughout keeps the look professional and the maintenance simple. At 86 kg, it's light enough to position exactly where you need it, but heavy enough to stay put under a full load of dinner service. The heating is consistent throughout the cupboard, so no cold corners or hot spots — just reliable warm holding.

BEFORE YOU BUY

Questions, answered straight

At 1200 mm × 700 mm, you can typically fit 20–25 standard dinner plates standing on edge, depending on plate diameter and how you arrange the interior racks. Larger serving platters or deeper dishes reduce the count.

It's a heated cupboard, not a warmer, so it maintains plates at food-safe holding temperatures — above 63 °C. Your installer will commission it to your kitchen's needs, and you control the setpoint via the thermostat.

At 86 kg, it's designed to stay in one place once positioned. You can reposition it by hand (two people), but it's not a mobile piece to be rolling around every day. Get it level and settled, and leave it there.

At 700 mm deep, it's a standard pass depth. If you're fitting it against a wall, allow the full 700 mm clearance from wall to front edge for staff to reach in comfortably. Ask your installer to site it before fixing.

The unit comes with its own thermostat control. Installation includes a power supply assessment by your installer; most kitchens run these from a standard outlet or hard-wired connection (your electrician confirms).
