Why this food warmer earns its place
The Vollrath Mirage JE934 is built for buffet counters where the warmer should look like part of the counter, not like an appliance placed on top of it. The drop-in format can be installed in an overhanging countertop or sunk into a counter, giving you a clean, flush hot-food station for front-of-house service.
Induction gives the Mirage its control. Staff get four power levels – low, medium, high and chafer preheat – through simple touch controls, with LED indicators on both the control panel and the glass top. That makes it easy to bring pans up ready for service and then hold food with a setting that suits the dish.
The top is tempered black ceramic glass: strong, non-porous and quick to wipe down after service. It suits a buffet line because it presents neatly to customers, cleans without the fuss of a recessed wet well, and keeps the working surface simple when pans are changed.
