Why this salad bar earns its place
This is built for the front-of-house self-serve line: takeaways, hotels, buffet restaurants, and farm shops where customers serve themselves from heated containers. The SB40C holds up to four 1/1 GN containers at 150mm depth in the illuminated display section, which means you can show cooked meats, hot starters, prepared salads, and Asian dishes simultaneously. The upper illumination highlights what's on offer—proper lighting matters for impulse selling and food presentation.
The dark wood finish (brown) is deliberate: it sits in a dining room without looking like a back-of-house storage unit. There's an open lower shelf for additional containers, utensils, or serving equipment. Two locking castors mean the unit stays in position during service even with customers leaning against it, and two tray slides on each side let servers restock or clear without wrestling the entire cabinet.
Thermostat-controlled heating maintains +20 to +90 °C, so you can run it hotter for holding cooked meats or cooler for prepared salads if needed. 3000W supply, 230V mains required. Stainless steel heating internals, wood exterior casing. This is specification self-serve display equipment, not a domestic warming cabinet.
