Why this salad bar earns its place
The GP308 is the light oak sister to the GP309, built for the same self-serve hot food display purpose but with the warmth of natural wood finish that sits more naturally in hotel dining rooms and upmarket casual venues. At 1540mm square and 1445mm tall, it's designed to be a destination piece — a focal point that draws guests to try hot starters, roast meats, prepared dishes or Asian specialities without the sense of queuing at a counter.
Four sides with tray slides mean guests can serve themselves from any approach angle, and glass breath protection screens keep the food safe while the white LED lighting brings everything to life under service lighting. The light oak casing — made from sustainable light oak and sealed for kitchen durability — ages beautifully and fits seamlessly into dining room interiors that might otherwise show restaurant equipment too obviously. With mobile casters and a locking base, you position it once for the service and it doesn't shift, but you can move it easily when setup changes or deep cleaning is needed.
The bain-marie holds four full-size GN 1/1 containers to 150mm depth each, heated from below. Temperature control ranges from 20°C (for ambient display in warm weather) to 90°C, so it's flexible enough to work year-round alongside chilled components or seasonal menu changes. The open lower storage shelf keeps backup containers and serving equipment within reach, so service doesn't stall during the rush.
